Photographing the Steelers

I am very fortunate to be able to photograph sports on the NFL level. I am also very fortunate to be able to photograph my favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Few teams, if any, have a following of fans as strong as the Steelers. Standing on the sidelines of Heinz Field, with all the fans cheering loud on a 3rd and 10, is a feeling I can’t accurately describe. And being able to be inches away from these players has provided photo opportunities fans dream about. Whether I am at Heinz field or on the front lawn of the White House, I am proud to be photographing the Steelers players. Of course my favorite memory is getting a high five from James Farrior after a game…or running into Brett Keisel in the bathroom. It’s a toss up.
